A much in demand player, Jim Blomfield has performed at numerous venues and festivals throughout the UK appearing with many different bands and ensembles both in the jazz and latin genres. He has frequently been the pianist of choice to back visiting big name guest soloists past and present (e.g. Andy Sheppard, Barbara Thompson, Pete King, John Etheridge, Roberto Pla and Henry Fiol to name just a few) and is recognised as one of the UK’s finest latin jazz and salsa pianists.
